Library and Information Science Literature Library - Evaluation of the holdings
The Library and Information Science Literature Library is a national information, documentation and reference centre of the Czech Republic in librarianship and science information. It performs study as well as archival and documentation functions in these fields. The Library and Information Science Literature Library´s holdings are available for users mainly in-house.
Domestic literature is acquired in full through purchase and donations. Foreign literature is acquired through purchase, international exchange of publications and donations. With regard to financial means, acquisition of foreign literature is aimed at basic librarianship and library science literature, new trends and above all at encyclopedias and terminology works in librarianship and library science.
